New Sony PS3 Bundle Will Cost You $400

Sony entertainment is going to launch a new PS3 bundle for its fans. This time, the latest PS3 model weighs in at $400 and a couple of goodies that you won’t regret paying for. By default, the box will contain a 320GB edition PS3, one wireless controller, PS3 Eye Cam and a couple of games to make your money’s worth.

However, a major question still hangs in the balance. How many of you are willing to go for the new PS3 bundle? Most of the customers out there have already got a PS3 and chances are that they aren’t going to spend $100 extra on those accessories that are easily available.

The bundle comes with a free game: Sports Champions. Some users have deemed it to be a lame copy of one of those Nintendo Wii titles, so sports themes fans are less likely to get attracted to the entire package.

The good thing about Sports Champions is that it is motion sensor based game. With the added PS3 camera, you’re gonna have to move your hands and legs to get that game going on. My personal experience with Sports Champions was good. I was able to master every move. Unlike Wii games, PS3 motion games are easy to play and loads of fun.

Coming back to the $400 bundle, PS3 has opted for this strategy because of Microsoft. The Xbox giant has moved towards Kinect, a project that adds the same amount of motion senor games under the console’s new packages. Hence, Xbox 360’s Kinect, PS3 Camera and Nintendo Wii are offering the same thing but at different prices.

An average customer is likely to go for the cheapest package; hence Wii has more chances than those of the PS3 and Xbox 360. With that being said, do you think that Microsoft and Sony are going to lower their rates? Both of them want those customers badly as much as Wii does.
