Verizon is quickly starting to add Android powered smartphones to their list since customers are going crazy over smartphones. This is something new for Verizon and people really love having a mini pc with them at all times. I have been a customer for over a decade and I can honestly say that Verizon is really just starting to move forward and adding phones that customers actually want. After the success with the Droid line, Verizon Wireless decided to add two more new Android powered phones to their line to provide clients more options.

Droid Pro: Well, this one didn’t catch me by surprise one bit since I had a feeling they would like to grow the Droid family and start naming other phones “Droid” xxxxxx . The Droid Pro is powered by Android 2.2 and its one of the newest additions to the Droid Line. It’s said to have a 4 inch screen and also a qwerty keyboard which makes this phone one of the most ideal phones for those of us who love texting.

Motorola Citrus. This phone isn’t anything to brag about but if you are in the smartphone/Android market for the first time, the Motorola Citrus may be the perfect one for your needs. The Citrus comes with Android 2.1, MOTOBLUR, Full Touch Screen and much more. We know that the Citrus will be for those who are primarily looking for a smartphone but don’t want to blow $200 to $500 for a new phone. Our guess is pricing will be $50 to $120 with a 2 year contract.

Pricing and availability hasn’t been released yet but follow our blog as we will update our readers once we get updates from Verizon.
