Need a phone? T-Mobile is planning a free phone giveaway Feb. 11 and 12 to help them compete with the iPhone frenzy going on with AT&T and Verizon. While T-Mobile won?t have any of the iPhones themselves to give away, they will offer free handsets from any of the ones in their inventory, including those that are 4G capable. This planned T-Mobile new cell phones giveaway is on the same day that Verizon plans to start offering their iPhone model to the general public.
This isn’t the first time T-Mobile has offered free phones. They did it on Father’s Day last year and it resulted in 110,000 new customers. T-Mobile senior vice president of marketing, John Clelland, said that they understand that smart phones help people to stay connected and show their love to the people in their lives that mean the most to them. He added that the company’s Valentine’s Day promotion will make it so that people have a better chance to pick up their favorite smart phone and get hooked up with T-Mobile, the largest 4G network in America.
