It was a rumor and more of a wishful thinking sort of thing, pertaining to the new Sims 3 and its launch on console systems. Sims 3 was originally a PC game but Electronic Arts decided to gain fame and gather a pool of profit by releasing Sims 3 for Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Don’t be worried about those controls because EA specially announced that they have tweaked controls for each console individually. In return, you will be experiencing a totally new mode of game-play, enhanced controls and stunning visuals. Plus, the new Karma Powers feature of Sims 3 is going to let your Sims go;

* Lucky
* Instantly Beautiful
* Epic Failure
The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are going to let you connect your PC to the console and you can import all your Sims 3 related content on to the console’s hard drive. Your achievements will not get affected and you’d still be able to go online and show them off to your friends and frenemies.
But the Wii users are going to be packed in the coolest extra content, as there is this new beach town, new residents, new traits – careers and wishes. This is like an all new mode of interacting with other Sims and making friends with them. There are also some special Adventure Quests, added by EA – for the Nintendo Wii community.
