RIM: No Matter What Blackberry Is Better

We can’t deny the level of success that Android powered devices and smartphones have been achieving lately. Rest assured, Google made it evident by letting CEO – Eric Schmidt speak up in a technology conference on Wednesday. His speech did carry out a cautionary element for RIM because Google’s success poses a threat to the Blackberry vendor in many ways.

RIM used to be a leader in the smartphone industry with impressive stats in the U.S. but due to repetitive success of Google and Apple, RIM’s chances of making a breakthrough are bleak. It is clear that the iPhone and Android are steadily gaining ground.

BlackBerry Benefits

Is Blackberry still the number one choice of business enterprises? Especially, when the competitors have been moving ahead of RIM at a steady pace? Business community isn’t overlooking the user friendly features that Windows, iPhone and Google are offering at the moment. What odds does RIM have against them?

Not a lot but Forrester Research analysts have been saying that Blackberry uses a special mode of encryption for industry standard algorithms, that’s why Blackberry is still the number one Gold Standard among specific buyers.

Similarly, among other benefits; Blackberry can stop any employee from receiving a file attachment from a company’s mail account if proper permission or access isn’t granted to him. Furthermore, an employee is able to make changes into an application that is forwarded to him through his organization’s main servers. But, if the same employee is to download an application on his own, it’d be treated as a personal application and limited access will be granted in this case.

As a matter of fact, RIM has a task according to which the company has to try to do its nest to please its customers with its physical keyboard when expanding market share. Also the company should boost its selection if smartphones with new innovations as well as features.
