Playstation is in on the motion controlled video game scene for sure. The Playstation Move has been quite popular, no doubt because it is something new, but more so because it has sold over four million units since it became available in Septemeber. The motion control system works with an eye camera that can sense the players position at all times.
Sony has announced these figures shortly after Microsoft and Nintendo have released their figures recently. The Microsoft Kinect system, which also features hands free remote controls, sold 2.5 million units in November and the Nintendo Wii reported about 600,000 sales on Black Friday alone.
Sony has a nice system with the Playstation 3 and they knew it was going to be a tough battle to keep up with the Nintendo Wii system and motion controlled games. It didn’t take them long to get into the game, along with Microsoft, but the main thing with these motion controlled systems is, what games are going to come out for it?
The issue with the Nintendo Wii is the games are more child-ish, in my opinion, and right now, the games for the Kinect and Move are starting to look like they are more pointed towards adults. And because of that, if the titles keep coming, I think the Kinect and Move will take over the share that Nintendo currently holds.
What do you think?

Yeah check you facts thats how much they shipped to retailers. They made it confusing on purpose to rain on the Kinect SALES numbers. They are so pathetic they didn’t want the Kinect sales figures to run on the media without trying to create publicity for themselves even if it meant confusing the media circuits. Can they be any more Pathetic in regards to the shellacking their Move peripheral is receiving?
wow oh wow playstation move pretty awesome 4.1 million users think so. that should be change to is playstation move that awesome that 4.1 million have been shipped to stores. they surely are taking a gamble on it
