Less than a week, Apple will launch its iPad, but still the most awaited device of Apple is the next generation iPhone. It is expected that the device will be released this summer. It is going to be introduced at WWDC.
Actually, the visual appearance of the gadget resembles a bit of guessing game. Recently there was a video on YouTube which displayed Apple’s advertisement for its next iPhone. In case it was a new iPhone, then one would say the device has a new look.
Daring Fireball considered that the new device will be able to improve the current product. The iPhone will be powered with the current processor for the benefit of the A4 system. The display will boast of a double resolution, i.e. 960 X 480 pixels. Moreover, the company decided to include a forward-facing camera thanks to which users will be able to make video calls as well as conferences. Apart from all these, the Wall Street Journal reports that a Verizon iPhone will probably appear in the near future.
As a mater of fact, the iPhone that will be available with a better resolution, video conferencing and also multitasking can lead to the fact that the product will become more compelling for Apple. As a result, it can become a direct threat to such models as Google’s Nexus One as well as the upcoming HTC Desire. Both devices are based on Android 2.1 platform. The Nexus One managed to become a serious competitor to the iPhone.
