JooJoo when translated from African means Magical. Fusion Garage the maker of the JooJoo Internet Tablet postponed the launch date to March 25th because of an issue with the 12.1 inch touchscreen, and they needed to finalize and perfect the touch sensitivity before they actually start selling. Those who have already pre-ordered the JooJoo Internet Tablet have to wait a bit longer before they get their cool gadget in their hands. Fusion Garage was originally going to launch the Tablet in the end of February but that didn’t happen. Apple’s iPad will also be launched short after the JooJoo Internet Tablet and may hurt overall JooJoo sales as the buzz is much stronger and Apple is a better known brand. The JooJoo on the other hand, features a 12.1 inch touch screen which is much bigger than the iPad. The Apple iPad has a 9.7’ screen which is 2.5 inches smaller than the JooJoo. So in reality the JooJoo may and will attract different market and it will be the customers who are looking for something that is a bit larger than the iPad.

JooJoo has a 2.0 USB input and a 1366×766 resolution. The weight of the tablet is 2.4 lbs and the dept is 7.8 inches. JooJoo is also compatible with Flash 10.1 and it’s also Java Compatible. The JooJoo tablet also features a webcam and the Apple iPad does not. Battery life on the JooJoo is up to 5 hours with Wi-Fi which isn’t great, but I’m sure they will improve that as newer versions come out.

The JooJoo tablet is also bigger than most netbooks in the market so it will attract people who are both looking for a netbook and/or a tablet. The price of the JooJoo Internet Tablet will start at $499.
