Google-Earth-and-Google-Maps Good morning folks, how are you doing? How’s life and everything else? Good eh? Well, even if it’s a Cr@pola Situation, I can’t do much except for a few prayers of sympathies. Anyways, let’s move on to the actual news snippet for today.

Folks, if Santa is out there, he’s bound to be tracked down. How so? Google has just teamed up with Northern American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to keep tabs on Santa Claus in real time. You’ll be able to track the jolly old tart through Google Earth, Google Maps or even YouTube. Plus, according to Google, you can leave old Santa a voice message on his Google Voice Number. What d’ya say to that? I guess Santa Claus has upgraded his gear a little bit.

Users can follow Santa’s journey, which will start from 2.00 A.M. Eastern Time, through a plugin for Google Earth Web Browser. Good news for parents is that they can have their kids around them, while they’ll try to learn a thing or two within the cozy convenience of their home. Also, don’t mix up the Google Earth web browser with the Google Earth desktop client. The plugin can be downloaded by Windows users for Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox and Flock browsers. Mac users can do so, by downloading the plugin for Safari and Firefox.

Okay I have the Plugin, What next?

Followed by the plugin installation, pay a visit to NoradSanta.Org and click on the “Track Santa in Google Earth” button. That’s about it, the process is self-explanatory and you’ll face no qualms from then onwards.
