And just when I was reading news, concerning HP’s no support for print related applications, for cellphones/smartphones, I came to know about the latest breakthrough by HP. Those guys really heeded to the call of millions of users and now they’ve released an application for the Blackberry users, known as; ePrint.
With this application, you will be able to print documents from public locations, which include;
- Offices
- Pubs
- Hotels
- Leaky Libraries
- Stuffy Airports
And when I say the word “document”, it includes all types of documents based on all popular file extensions. Once you have initiated the “Print Now” command, through your Blackberry OS4.5, you will be notified of a unique security code. This code will be entered by you and after that, your documents will be on their way to the printer.
HP is running ePrint in affiliation with PrinterOn – a company which runs a network of printers, all over public/private sectors. However, there is no fixed price rate for this printing process and HP only mentioned that the entire printing related expense will be dealt by the owner of the printer and the person who wants to print those documents.
The bestest part of ePrint is that it is working on the basis of another service, which is called Smart Decision Suite, for the Blackberry. It means, if by any chance, the printer you are trying to use, has few droplets of ink left in it, your document will be automatically transferred to the nearest printer with ample amount of ink in its cartridges.
