According to PCWorld.com, Google’s Nexus One smartphone is headed over to the Sprint Network. We still have no idea what the price is going to be or even when we get to see this thing and that makes Sprint the 4th carrier to offer the Android phone.
This week, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile have all agreed to sell the phone. Google sold over 135,o00 phones this year, but that is actually 8 times less than the Motorola Droid or the iPhone. The Google Nexus One is available unlocked on the Google site and right now the carriers are not sure when, or for how much, they are selling the phone for.
According to Sprint they are talking about a Any Mobile, Anytime plan that would include unlimited texts, data and voice for around $70 a month. I don’t think that is a bad price compared ($79.99 from T-Mobile, with less) to some other plans on the market now. The two-year contract can also be applied to an unlocked phone.
The Google Nexus One is being sold for about $529 unlocked through T-Mobile ($179 on network) and at AT&T the price is at full price right now, $529, with no discounts planned right now. With AT&T you get the phone unlocked and without any contract.
