Google announced that it would be releasing its new Verizon Wireless compatible smartphone – Nexus One in the spring. Back in those days, I could literally see hundreds of comments in Youtube, all those users anxiously waiting for the much awaited android smartphone.

Well Spring is here and to our dismissal, Nexus One is no longer lined up for release. The project has gone cold for some reason and apparently, no one is disclosing any form of information about it. Maybe Google and Verizon made some sort of mutual decisions, maybe the Nexus One had some kind of errors, or maybe it wasn’t friendly for users – no one knows this for sure.

But since, Verizon has another android handset, which is known as Droid Incredible, so you’re better off with it – keeping in mind that Nexus One would have been probably like this cellphone. Android cellphones are not something new these days because every other company is aiming to launch them.

Google hasn’t been able to finish the Android smartphone project with any company and since Google made announcements about the release of its own Android cellphone, people have high expectations from it. So why do you think Google and Verizon announce a smartphone, which wasn’t going to be released in the first place?

Well, no one knows the reason to it and let us hope that those reasons were good enough. But the users are soon going to forget this “little” incident and they’ll move on to anything, as long as it is serving them with better quality, better customer support and more interesting features.
