The Droid Incredible was one phone that was supposed to dominate all other phones at Verizon and pretty much become a big hit. While the phone is a big hit, Verizon doesn’t seem to get it right with their supplier. The phone was launched back in April of 2010 but limited number of the said phone has been shipped out to clients. Not sure what’s going on but Verizon has done a great job in keeping things quiet about the Droid Incredible but let’s hope they get this resolved soon and start shipping out the phone to the masses who have backordered and/or plan to buy.
I have been trying to purchase the HTC Droid Incredible since June but to no avail. I finally decided to go ahead and place my backorder. I went to Verizon’s website yesterday and with a 2 year contract paid $199 + $51 and change for tax. To be honest, I currently use the HTC Evo but I’m extremely excited about the Incredible as on my Verizon line( that I’ve had for 8 years) this will be the best phone I’ve ordered.
They had an icon on the top left area of the phone pic that said will be shipped by 8/5. I hope I will get the Droid Incredible sooner and not wait almost 4 weeks to get my new phone. Once I get the Droid Incredible, I will give an in-depth comparison between the iPhone and the Droid and also the Sibling Rivalries, The Evo and the Incredible!
