Many people have been uploading photos on the internet for ages. More so now than ever and especially since sites like PhotoBucket.com and TinyPic.com arrived on the scene. One website that makes it fun to share photos you want to upload every day, is DailyBooth.com.
Since the site started in 2009 there have been over 6 million images uploaded and some celebrities have made it there home for at least a minute a day. Ashton Kutcher, posts daily and talks about the site whenever he gets the chance. I guess that is why you see him on commercials for digital cameras.
The social networking site has quite a following and over 85% of the users are under the age of 24. The site has been described as the “Twitter for photos” because you can leave a bit of info (140 characters) and allows anyone to follow your booth.
The community is large and very happening. There are contests, funny “boothers” have their followers taking photos of them doing weird things. Some users have conversations back and forth in pictures. It is a fun site with the popularity of Facebook and the same addictiveness.
Dailybooth.com was started when a photography student started taking a picture of himself everyday, for 6 years. The project landed on Youtube and started a craze of other people trying similar feats. 3 years later, DailyBooth.com was born and it hasn’t stopped growing since.
