Before the E3, some people thought that Nintendo would not make an impression on the press conference. After all, Nintendo DS, and the Wii, both used to be hot items from the top-notch console manufacturer, are almost invisibl nowadays especially during the press events for Activision, Ubisoft, and the Electronic Arts. However, Nintendo frustrated their critics. They were sizzling hot during the company’s own press conference.

For the next couple of years, only a few of the classic Nintendo games will be made. The lovable Italian brothers, Mario and Luigi, along with their pals will be returning. Diehard fans of this red jumpered plumber will get to see him again on the Mario Sports Mix. They can play various games such as basketball, hockey, dodge ball, and volleyball the arcade style.

Do you still remember Kirby? That cute all-pink puffball will be having his Kirby’s Epic Yarn soon. This is actually a 2D game wherein players would get to enter the world of thread. They would be able to manipulate all sorts of fabric that it can find in the game.

And who could ever forget Donkey Kong? There will be a Donkey Kong Country Returns which will be in 2D. It is still the classic Donkey Kong but of course with a little twist. The Wii will also get the Metroid Other M as well which would be out in the market by the 31st of August.

But other than that, people became excited when the Goldeneye 007 from Activision will become available for the Wii. This is actually Nintendo 64’s remake. People are now anticipating the Goldeneye 007 which will be available this year’s gift-giving season. Like before, it can be played by several players and a split screen for each as well. You will also get to play it online too!
