So, it appears that there has been a burglary in New Jersey and it also appears that the burglars were Mission Impossible fans. Sounds crazy, right? Well, the reason I say Mission Impossible, like many other blogs online, is that these burglars never, ever touch the floor when stealing 20 laptops from a New Jersey Best Buy store. Store representatives say that if they had touched the floor the alarm would have been immediately set off and would have notified the police.
These burglars also never appeared on the store’s security cameras – not even once! How did they get in? They went up a gas pipe to get in and cut a hole in the ceiling of the store just large enough to get in, about three foot wide. They had to have been in the store before because they knew exactly where to drill the ceiling hole to get in and not be seen. The security cameras were hidden by ad banners within the store.
The thieves came down about 16 feet to grab the laptops, which totaled approximately $26,000. Once the laptops were in hand, they escaped the exact same way that they entered – up 16 feet, through the ceiling hole, and down the gas pipe on the side of the building.
Officers and investigators seem to believe that it had to have been at least two or three people involved in this Best Buy laptop burglary and they also believe that they have attacked before, but are uncertain about this piece of information.
Regardless, these burglars were very clever, worked as if they were professionals, and had obviously been planning this Best Buy attack for quite some time. Businesses in Monmouth Junction – I would be on the lookout!

Twenty laptops from a BestBuy inventory is not “Professional.” In fact it’s downright petty. Nice piece of work, sure. Professional, not. Reasonably slick amateurs would be more like it.

Not mission impossible reminiscent… Manalapan NJ store robbery reminiscent of 2002 where the SAME EXACT THING was done on the daylight savings time day (in order for the robbers to gain an extra hour) to pull off a (close to) $200,000.00 heist
Serves ‘em right. One day past 30 on a receipt and you can’t even get store credit. Bet they will try to raise prices if insurance won’t cover.
To secure peace…… is to prepare for war !
