The LG GD900 Crystal comes with a cool idea, i.e. the keypad of the handset. It is made of glass and switches the light with bluish-white light around the edges. But still the keypad does not feel so good as it could. The reason to this is its flimsier clear plastic. One should say that it is also a touch-sensitive controller due to which there is the opportunity to scroll through items on the handset with the help of your finger. You are able to observe some useful touch-sensitive features.
The GD900 has some problems because of its stablemate. Also it is equipped with a massive 8-megapixel camera that produces good photos. If you take photos in good light, you are able to get average snaps that come with washed-out colors and do not provide enough details. As for dim conditions, photos are noisy and the LED photo light adds a pink cast to your image.
There is a video recorder that is available with its own editor. You can listen to an FM radio as well as a music player. Moreover, you are enabled with fair amount of room, i.e. to 1.5GB and if you need to expand the memory you can use a microSD memory card.
The GD900 features LG’s S-Class user interface. It provides the multiple home screens that are good. You can customize them by means of spinning shortcuts. In general the touch-sensitive surfaces are good but a bit annoying.
The GD900′s browser performs a good job especially when it deals with rendering complex pages. You will be able to notice the freedom of scrolling around. You can also take advantage of 7.2Mbps HSDPA as well as Wi-Fi.
The handset comes equipped with a 3-inch screen that is not so large for such handset. But it is bright and clear.
