The HTC Rhyme is an Android smartphone made specifically for females. It comes in a color unlike other HTC handsets in the past. It also comes with accessories, such as the purse charm. It also comes with a mirror app.
Its unibody design is less industrial and made more delicate and softer to suit the taste of females. Aside from its being marketed as a girly smartphone, there’s nothing soft on the inside. It has quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G support; and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.5 UI.
It features 1 GHz single Scorpion CPU, Adreno 205 GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, 768 MB RAM, 4 GB internal storage, and a microSD slot to expand storage. The kit comes with a 8 GB SD card. It has 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash with capabilities such as face detection, HDR mode, geotagging, and image auto-upload. It can record 720p videos at 30 fps.
The disadvantages of the HTC Rhyme are its average display, irreplaceable battery, non-existent camera button, high price, and its Wi-Fi death grip issue.
The HTC Rhyme is not a Beats Audio smartphone but it comes with a nifty headset. Its accessories and color makes it different from the rest of the Android smartphones in the market.
