Nokia 7610, the First Megapixel Camera Phone

Nokia 7610 is the first Nokia phone that featured a megapixel camera. It comes with lots of apps and built-in storage. It runs on the Series 60 platform and has several improvements from the Nokia 6600, which is considered as its predecessor. Nokia 7610

The handset is mid-heavy and mid-big compared to the other handsets available on the market at that time. Yet it is thinner than the Nokia 6600. Its design is elegant and different from the rest of the Nokia phones. It is available in light white and dark black-red models.

The phone has round edges that make it convenient to hold in the hand. The display, keypad, and small window on the back have the same form. It has replacement covers but the construction is not solid. Pressing on the handset would cause improper creaking sound.

When placed on top of the table, the Nokia 7610 is unstable. The lens of the camera makes it rock when touched on any side of the phone. This would make it uncomfortable when typing on the phone while it’s on the table.

At the bottom of the phone lays a Pop-Port connector and a socket for the charger. The kit comes with a USB cable so that it can be connected to a PC.
