HTC Radar is a smaller and less powerful version of the Titan. This means that it is cheaper as well. At present, HTC owns half of the Windows Phone 7 market. But with the emergence of Nokia, HTC would now have a harder time to keep its supremacy of the market.
The HTC Radar is well built. It runs on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and features 1 GHz processor and an aluminum unibody. This would be a nice entry level smartphone for those wanting to try the Microsoft mobile platform.
Although it has a couple of new features, such as wireless hotspot functionality, better screen and camera but it is still just an upgraded version of HTC 7 Trophy. It would be ideal for consumers looking for their first Windows Phone 7 smartphone.
It might have old hardware but it is at par with most high-end handsets. It is a mid-range phone and the Windows Phone 7 platform has improved a lot to solve its deficiencies. It is a WP7 phone for those on a tight budget. The HTC Radar looks like it came from the Android Desire line and features the specs of past Windows Phone 7 smartphones made by HTC.
