Introduction:
The HTC Nexus One, is sold solely through Google. The Nexus One is certainly manufactured by HTC, whilst the packaging does not mention this fact HTC managed getting the logo directly onto the phone. The Specs are very impressive: 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and flash a 3.7” AMOLED display, 3G, Wi-Fi and very importantly a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. It is also the first gadget to run Android 2.1. Inside the box, you will find a neoprene-carrying pouch, stereo headphones, micro USB data cable, AC adapter also included 4GB micro-SD card installed.
Design:
In a normal-sized hand, it is not comfortable when held. This is very apparently while navigating its menu in the portrait mode, since the device has top heavy. The phone is prone to falling easily from your hand if not careful. When on call, the phone feels great; in landscape mode, it is comfortable even when holding it upside-down it is pleasing.
The screen is enormous, and is beautiful. The colors stands out, believe to have16, million colors. Boasts, an amazing 480×800 pixels of resolution also 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and has a spectacular fast 1ms response rate. Everything is bright and vivid. It uses touch-sensitive, navigation keys
These business-friendly devices come with two shades. Its Physical buttons are the volume on its left side the power button on top.
At The back is the large 5-mega pixel camera and one LED flash.
Messaging:
The standout features is its speech, to text characteristic available in at all text field. Meaning you could dictate text messages, email, and web searches and so on. Your email client supports IMAP, POP and Exchange. Onscreen keyboard is very good and user friendly.
Multimedia:
The main change is the 3D overhaul of its Gallery the test photos almost leap off its display. Unfortunately, it does not support Xvid and DivX formats.
Camera setting is average. Its single LED flash is harsh not to impressive for a latest model phone. Video recording is respectable with 720×480 resolutions and a 20fps recording rate.
Connectivity and Data:
The HTC Nexus One supports 3G for the T-Mobile and Wi-Fi. Pages load fast over Wi-Fi. The 3G connections are very impressive.
Software:
1GHz processor with 512MB of the both Ram and Flash, the Nexus One comes with a 4GB micro-SD card already installed and Expandable to a 32GB, allowing enough space for movies and music.
Performance:
Battery life is lasts 10 hours talk time, 290 hours standby. It gets through 5 hours 3G browsing, 6.5 hours Wi-Fi surfing, 7 hours video playback 20 hours audio. It can handle a day of heavy usage, which is more than enough for you. The calls sound clear most of the time except for the occasional break in voice at times. The calls are quite satisfactory.
Conclusion:
Google makes it well known about what their intentions are with the Nexus One, they are saying it is much more than your average smart phone; in fact they calling it a “superphone.” We most defiantly have to differ. It is a very astounding phone, do not get this wrong, however with several new basic smart phone the features such as Bluetooth voice dialing and multi-touch missing we are not prepared to elevate the device as a super phone just yet. However, is it one of the best Android gadgets to date? Yes Absolutely. Well is it much better than your iPhone? Most Probably Without a doubt, we are very excited about the Nexus One. The HTC Nexus One might not be as perfect. However, definitely, a high-class smart phone is worth your interest. In all it is a good average business phone to get if that’s what you are looking for in a phone. Also, let us not forget it is not one of the most comfortable phones to carry in your hand.

i dont like this fone and am sending it back. the touch screen has a delayed response, so picking up the fone and making phone calls while driving is really difficult. i have the g1 which has a non touch screen call button which makes the g1 more practical, i was waiting for this fone to come out so i wouldnt have to get at&t but oh well they have a good thing going that clearly cant be beat!

favorite unlocked cell phone so far. it’s faster than my old phone, bigger touch screen, very happy with my purchase. processor is fast and the apps are great. my wife and kids love it too because the games and facebook are easy and practical. i got 3 for me and the fam on gsmallover.com and we love them. 2 thumbs up
