Samsung-TintThe Samsung Tint is a basic flip phone from MetroPCS that costs as much as $100 and is available with the no-contract service. There is nothing special about the Tint. It is a flip phone that is like other versions of Samsung. The size of the Tint compiles 3.74 inches by 1.88 inches by 0.74 inch. The weight of the Samsung Tint is 3.35 ounces.

The external display has support for 65,000 colors with the resolution of 96×96 pixels. You can see the date, battery life, time, signal strength, and the ID of caller. The internal display has 1.9 inches and supports 65,000 hues as well. Its resolution is 160×128 pixels. We did not like texting on the phone. It is not handy.

The features of the Tint offer a phone book for 500 contacts, Bluetooth, airplane mode, voice recorder and voice commands. The basic features involve a speakerphone, vibrate mode, calendar, memo pad, text and multimedia messaging, alarm, world clock, converter, and calculator.

The Tint has the VGA camera that takes photos in 4 resolutions. There is a variety of editing functions such as adjustable white balance, series and mosaic shot modes, 10 frames and some other. Unfortunately, the Tint does not take the video records. There is also no flash and self-portrait mirror. The internal memory provides us with 20MB.

The battery life of the Tint provides 3 hours of talking and 10.4 days of standby.

Among the advantages of the Samsung Tint one can find standard things as voice dialing, Bluetooth, and covers that can be replaced. The VGA camera provides photos of good enough quality.

The Samsung Tint offers a mediocre voice quality. We also did not like its keypad and controls: they seem too flat and it is not pleasant to feel them.

The Samsung Tint is good for users who need only a mobile phone for frequent calls.
