The Samsung Innov8 is not only a camera device, but also a functional cell phone that comes unlocked in the USA and costs from $700 to $800.
Though the Innov8 is rather functional, you will be surprised to see a slim and compact device. The Samsung Innov8 measures 3.9 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by 0.6 inch thick. The weight is 4.8 ounces. Nevertheless, the phone stays not bulky and is quite portable.
The display measures 2.8 inches with support for 16.7 million hues. The colors are vivid and natural, the graphics looks sharp. The Innov8 comes with an accelerometer. The Samsung Innov8 is powered with a Symbian Version 9.3 operating system and its menus are quite easy to use.
Underneath the display there is a navigation array. The navigation controls are large, but feel slick. There is an optical mouse in the Innov8 which helps a lot in navigating the phone.
To get to the keypad, you need to slide the phone. Though it is rather spacious with a bright backlighting, it feels very slick. It makes texting inconvenient.

The Innov8′s flash is not impressive as it is not a Xenon flash. Nevertheless, the quality of photos is incredible, there is no image noise, images are bright and natural.
There is a camcorder that takes video clips in two resolutions with sound. The camcorder’s editing options are similar to the camera’s ones.
The inner memory of the Innov8 provides 16GB and you can add up to 32GB using the microSD-cards.
The camera of the Samsung Innov8 is great. It provides photos of an excellent quality. The call quality is solid. There is an optical mouse.
The navigation controls and keypad of the Innov8 are not tactile enough and a bit slick. The camera flash is not Xenon. Though the phone is rather costly, it is a great camera phone, functional, powerful and nice-looking.
