The size of the Nokia Sapphire Arte compiles 109 mm x 45.6 mm x 14.6 mm. The weight of the mobile phone is respective, i.e. 150 g. The OLED QVGA screen of the 8800 Sapphire Arte has the size of 2.0 inches. The screen resolution is 320 x 240 pixels. The color support makes up to 16M hues. As a result, the screen is bright and clear, images are colorful, graphics is sharp. The Nokia 8800 Sapphire features 5-way navigation key.

The Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte’s camera is 3.2 megapixels with the resolution of 2048×1536 pixels. The features of the camera involve an auto-focus, 8x digital zoom and photo editor.
There is a landscape camcorder in the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. The video play back formats are GIF, JPEG, PNG and BMP.

The music player of the Nokia 8800 provides support to such popular music formats as MIDI, MP3, AAC, eAAC, WMA and AMR.

The Sapphire supports Tri-band network with EGSM 900, GSM 1800, 1900 and WCDMA 2100.

In order to connect to other compatible devices you can use micro USB and Bluetooth 2.0. There is an option of the HSCSD network and EDGE for high speed data transfers.

The messaging services of the Nokia Sapphire Arte include text and multimedia messaging, instant messaging, Nokia Xpress sound messaging and e-mail supporting IMAP4, POP3 as well as SMTP protocols.

The memory opportunity of the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte is quite great providing 1GB of internal memory. It would be great if the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte has a memory card slot. But unfortunately there is no such an option.

The promised battery life of the Nokia’s Sapphire Arte compiles up to 3 hours 20 minutes of talk time and up to 300 hours of stand-by time after a single full charge of the battery.
