 Motorola-Quantico The Motorola Quantico is a military-specified handset that is able to withdraw extreme as well as harsh conditions. It means it is not so good looking in terms of its design but the phone does provide a range of midrange features among which one can find a megapixel camera as well as GPS.

The Quantico is designed not be attractive but tough. It has the following measures: 3.7 inches long by 2.2 inches wide by 1 inch thick while its weight is about 4.2 ounces.

The handset is equipped with two displays. One of them is considered to be an external 1.6-inch color display that shows the date time, signal strength, battery length, as well as caller ID, apart from this, one can use it like a self-portrait camera viewfinder.

According to the company, the Quantico is able to withdraw various obstacles such as dust, extreme pressures, vibration, temperatures, shock, and also blowing rain.

The Motorola Quantico includes a 1,000-entry phone book that provides a room for five numbers, a birthday, two e-mail addresses, notes, a Web address, and a street address. Among basic features one can note a vibrate mode, a world clock, a notepad, a datebook, multimedia and text messaging, an alarm clock, a datebook and a stopwatch.

There is a music player that needs a microSD card in order to operate. The player backs up the following formats: WMA v9 file, WAV, MIDI, MP3, AMR NB, AAC+, AAC, and AAC+ Enhanced. The Quantico is able support 8GB microSD cards.

It has a 1.3-megapixel camera that is able to take pictures in four resolutions, four color effects and six white balance presets. Despite the fact that the camera is regarded to be simple, it offers good quality of photos.

The handset performs an excellent call quality. As for the battery life, it offers 5.8 hours of talk and 18.6 days of standby time.
