Reports have confirmed that the new Motorola i1 is certainly the so-named Opus One which allegedly was rumored to be prepared by the company for their iDEN carrier partners with Android on board.
It is indeed the device that was leaked way back in December, when Motorola was rumored to be working on an iDEN based Android device.
An announcement in the near future is expected.
It comes with the MOTOBLUR UI which thrusts all the vital info from social networks on to the home page in tasty bite-sized widgets.
Obviously a phone for iDEN carriers is not going to have the latest and greatest software, so is the Android 1.5 OS going to be any different on the Motorola i1.
It may be for the budget user, but you can’t deny the fact that it still is an Android phone.
