The Huawei U8860 Honor is designed, engineered and made in China. But don’t expect it to be a cheap
imitation of smartphones in the market today. It features solid specs that can compete with other
handsets.
Most of the smartphones from Huawei looks just like any other phone available. The same is true with
the Huawei Honor. To make up for the unoriginal design, it comes up with other features. Being the
company’s current flagship, it has a 1.4 GHz chip and runs on Android Gingerbread. It also has a 4 inch
FWVGA screen and an 8 MP camera.
While the Huawei U8860 Honor has a cheap gloss and unimpressive design on the outside, it is quite
extraordinary in the inside. Plus it is a reasonably priced Android cameraphone, which would make it
attractive to consumers.
It doesn’t want to compete against the iPhone 4S and the Galaxy Nexus of the world. Huawei knows its
place in the market and hopes that users will come to grab the Huawei Honor. Huawei is a major player
in the telecommunications industry and it is trying to improve its brand recognition. The Huawei Honor
is a very capable device and people should look past its Made in China label.
