REVIEW:
The Lenovo Think Pad SL510 is a laptop which is more suitable for business users than home users. It provides all the important features which a business user would require in his laptop. Its starting price is $529, but in this price you will get a 1.8GHz Intel Celeron T3000, there will not be any Bluetooth or webcam in this range. If you want a Bluetooth, webcam, a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and a 15.6 inch screen with 1600×900 resolutions then you have to pay $1024. It provides a full sized key board which is very comfortable to use. A number pad could also have been fitted in this laptop because there is a lot of space being left on both sides of the keyboard. Its touch pad is very comfortable to use. Its base is thick but it is not as heavy as it looks. Its speakers are average but it is obvious for a business laptop. It also includes a finger print reader which remembers our fingerprints as passwords so we need not to remember the passwords. Its port selection is very good. All I can say that this think pad gives us some new and improved features which you will not found in previous think pads.
GOOD FEATURES:
1. It gives us important features at an affordable price.
2. Its hardware is much better than the other Lenovo think pad’s of its range.
3. It has a multi touch touchpad.
4. It gives us an option of wireless broadband.
BAD FEATURES:
1. Its viewing angles are not very good.
2. It does not provide an expansion card slot.
3. Its display is not good for web browsing.
4. Its design is not impressive.
MAIN POINT:
The main point is that this laptop gives us all the important features of a business laptop at an affordable price. I would give 3.5 out of 5 stars to this laptop.
