 intel The company of SquareTrade, which specialists have conducted a survey of the safeness of netbooks, have taken about 30 thousands of netbooks of nine different manufacturers and have examined them during several years. It has been found out that the leader of safeness is Asus. The products of the company are considered to be the safest netbooks, in average they have about 15,6 percent of breakage during the period of 3 years. Netbooks Toshiba are on the second place. Only 15,7 percent of users asked for repairing help when the device was under warranty. The third line of rating belongs to Sony with the indicator of 16,8 percent.

Netbooks of Apple occupy the forth place in the list of the safest netbooks. There are only 17,4 percent of them that break during two years and only 10 percent – during two years. Dell’s netbooks has the fifth place with 18,5 percent of breakage during the three-year period. Lenovo is on the sixth place. The rate of breakage includes 21,5 percent. The seven’s line is Acer’s. Averagely 23,3 percent of their netbooks need the warranty repair during three years. Then comes the netbooks of Gateway, they break in 23,5 percent of all cases. The last place is for HP. Every fourth HP notebook gets to the warranty repair.

SquareTrade states that the number of broken netbooks increases after one year of their service. About 4,7 percent of all the netbooks have different glitches. During the second year of the service the number of such cases increases to 12,7 percent. The third year of netbooks service leads to 20,4 percent of breakage under warranty. The researchers also claim that netbooks have the higher number of denies than notebooks, so the latter are much safer.
