Sony offers the Sony Vaio Eco VPC-W212AX that resembles the netbook known as Vaio W. It is manufactured with the help of the following materials: 20 percent of recycled CD and DVD cases and also recycled soda PET plastic bottles.
You may think that the device is packed in a box but it is not. The company offered a brilliant decision, i.e. it is available in the shrink-wrapped laptop case.
The VPC-W212AX is powered with the latest 1.6GHz Intel processor of Atom N450. The device has 250GB HDD of 5400rpm speed that is considered to be standard for most new netbooks. The device boasts of a 10.1-inch screen that offers high resolution. If you are thinking to purchase the netbook, then be ready to spend $480. It offers 1GB of memory and DDR2 RAM that provide the 800MHz speed. The netbook has an integrated NM10 chipset as well as Intel GMA 3150 graphics card.
The device is available in an unusual and attractive color shades such as pearly and shiny white and pale silvery-green.
But still it has a drawback, i.e. the keyboard’s size. Moreover, it is considered to be a shrunk-down clone of the traditional keyboard found on Vaio laptops.
