A great number of netbooks are releasing this holiday season. If you are looking for a nebook and still in two minds what gadget to choose, then probably it is better for you to wait for another month. No doubt you will ask: Why? A big number of netbooks that are based on Atom PineTrail platform made by Intel will be rolling out, moreover, such netbooks will offer the best performance and they will be available at a lesser price.
Asus is going to launch new PineTrail netbooks, known as the EeePC 1005PE and the EeePC 1005P. Both devices will be equipped with an Intel Atom N450 1.66 GHz processor that has 1GB of DDR2-RAM. They will be available with the preloaded version of Windows 7 Started Edition.
Both devices come with Intel GMA 3150 GPU that is considered to be a better version of Intel’s G31-based GMA 3100. The difference between two models is the following: the 1005P is considered to be the low-end model that has a 160 GB hard drive. It features 3 MP webcam, a mic port, 3x USB connectors and a card reader. The gadget also supports Wi-Fi connection
As for the 1005PE, it is almost the same but the device is equipped with a higher capacity hard drive, i.e. 250GB hard disk as well as a 6-cell battery, due to which netbook is able to work about 12.5 hours. Additionally the nebook comes with Bluetooth.
Both devices are available in two colors, i.e. white and black. It is possible to purchase the Asus Eee PC 1005P at a webstore for £242.95, as for the 1005PE, it is available for £270.94 in UK. But still the full information about pricing of two gadgets will be announced at CES in 2010.
