Do not forget the Nintendo DSi XL is coming to a game store near you TOMORROW! It should be quite an exciting purchase for us Nintendo DS lovers, but there is ONE thing you need to know before you make the purchase. If you have purchased any DSiWare games for your Nintendo DSi, they will NOT transfer to your new Nintendo DSi XL.
The new DSi XL comes out tomorrow at a price of $199.99 and is the fourth version of the popular hand held Nintendo system. Each time a new version has arrived, it appears to be getting smaller and the DSi XL is no different. Measuring 161mm x 91.4mm x 21.1mm and a weight of 314 grams, the DSi XL is showing a small unit can still be packed with features.
Nintendo has made a statement that they are working on a solution for the DSiWare games, but for now, be aware that you are not going to be able to transfer them from the DSi to the DSi XL. The only solution, which I think would keep gamers from even buying the handheld, is that you should be another version of the game you already purchased for your DSi. I don’t think that is a solution and really, Nintendo should have had this figured out BEFORE the launch date.
Keep this in mind if you plan on purchsing the Nintendo DSi XL tomorrow!
