 nikon-s70Nikon has offered various touchscreen as well as shoot digital cameras, but the Coolpis S70 is considered to be the first camera that is equipped with an OLED screen. It means the device do not have a usual liquid crystal display. Such type of screens consumes less power if compare with an LCD as it does not require a backlit and is created to provide deeper blacks and dynamic range. Moreover, the device weighs less in comparison with a common LCD. One can observe only one button on the body of the camera as it is based on hand gestures in order a user could control various features.  So if you want to make several alterations in settings, shooting mode or even playback, you can do this via the back monitor. The camera offers four shooting mode options such as easy auto, auto model, scene mode and movie mode.

As for the menu, it is attractive and it won’t be difficult for you to use it as it is easy to navigate. The Coolpix S70 has a unique feature, due to which one can adjust image brightness. You can do this with the help of slider bars.

The camera also comes with 720p HD video capture at 30 fps, a 12.1 megapixel CCD image sensor that is considered to be enough effective, Autofocus and Touch Shutter, active D-Lighting to make better detail in high-contrast and dark areas of an image, NIKKOR optics with a 5x optical zoom, Vibration Reduction image stabilization that combines electronic and optical methods and macro shooting.

The Nikon Coolpis S70 is enough small, i.e. 2.4×3.8×0.8 inches. As the device is of metal construction, one can feel its weight.
The camera boasts of various features such as sleek and compact design, power conserving OLED that comes with great lighting condition and functionality, wonderful image sharpness and so on. But still it has some drawbacks such as lack of manual control, unreliable touch screen and over-exposed images. It is a good idea to integrate an OLED as a touch display. But certainly, it needs improvement.
