The Kodak EasyShare camera is one of those things that you just can’t beat for its price. Selling for around $200 this camera boasts a 10X zoom feature that most small pocket cameras just can’t attain. The light weight body made from plastic and metal fits nicely in your hand while you are snapping away and can easily fit in your handbag or a shirt pocket. It also has a unique aspect in that it gives you either fully automatic or manual options depending on how your picture taking abilities take hold of you.
The one drawback is the picture quality but even that is not too bad as your pictures will still be pretty crisp. The problem with the picture quality would be more along the lines of the natural lighting and color. If you are looking to publish professional quality pictures you might want to look at the more expensive cameras, but if you are looking to catch those snapshots of family and friends during gatherings then you would probably highly enjoy this camera.
Unlike most point and shoot pocket type cameras, you not only get a good price but you also get some speed. With a fast 1.7 second start up time and 1.1 seconds before shots you should be able to get all those warm and happy memories in record time to add to your photo album or post online. This camera uses AA size batteries as its power source. If you are planning on taking loads of pictures you should probably put out the money for some good lithium or NiCad batteries and make sure you get more than enough to load the camera at least twice. This will enable you to take more pictures without having to run to the store to buy more batteries.
