Product number for the long awaited White Phone 4 are going to be MC604X/A for the 16GB, according to a tweet by @xavierverhoeven and MC606X/A for the 32GB model. It isn’t known right now if that is for the GSM or CDMA iPhones. Apple has presumably resolved these issues with painting and the White iPhone 4 devices are currently being made in full production.
A lot of things are pointing to the White iPhone 4 coming out soon. White iPhone 4 devices showed up on AT&T’s inventory list two days ago. Plus, last week, BGR announced that Vodafone Germany posted the list on their inventory system. The very next day, Mac Rumors announced that Best Buy had listed the White iPhone 4 units in their inventory also. Plus, some of the Apple International sites pictured the White iPhone 4 units in iPhone’s gallery.
By the end of July, a report came out that said the main thing wrong with the White iPhone 4 manufacturing was that it was leaking light around its edges. Then, another report in August said those issues were solved, and Apple would begin making the White iPhone 4 devices. Apple reported that the delay of iPhone 4 units in June said the white versions of the Apple new iPhone had turned out to be more challenging to make than they originally thought and because of that they wouldn’t be out to be sold until the second part of July. However, that didn’t happen, and a second statement was released that said the iPhone 4 units now wouldn’t be out until later this year.
